Coasteering

An exciting, adrenalin-charged activity, not for the faint-hearted

Coasteering is an exhilarating mixture of rock-climbing, scrambling, swimming and cliff jumping. No wonder it is one of our most popular activities. When you share the environment with local wildlife (otters, seals, diving sea birds) it can become a perfect day out on the coast.

Kitted out in a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and crash hat, you’ll be guided along the base of the rocky outcrops and cliffs on the shoreline in front of Raasay House before jumping off into the sea below.  You’ll need teamworking skills to work out the best route around the cliffs. You’ll need a hot chocolate (or whisky for the adults) and an even hotter shower afterwards!

“When the pod of dolphins came by, I nearly fell off the rock trying to twist around for a better view.”
