Deer watching

Deer on Raasay have a right to roam on the hillside and through the woods and forests.  Local opinion varies as to how many are on the island, but certainly there are more deer than people. 

We will guide you along the deer paths to the best sightings – whether it be stags in spring, with their antlers in velvet, or in the autumn with their points polished and gleaming, ready for the rut.
