A new Raasay House chapter began when at midnight on Weds 31st Oct we terminated our lease at the Hotel!
Three and a half years of business survival after the Fire, our extended stay with our guests and clients at the hotel and the dismantling of the wonderful Staff Caravan park- are all behind us!
It’s great to now be able to concentrate on the exciting task of preparing Raasay House for reopening: to focus on new sales and products, to order equipment and furniture, work on Interior design and enjoy views of the new Raasay House and it's developing grounds, from our new big office at the North Drive of Raasay House.
We know from the lovely messages and posts, that many of you have been following the progress and are looking forward to seeing Raasay House back in action. It has been great to receive such support from so many guests and ex staff members across the country and the world! Messages from as far afield as New Zealand, Australia and Spain as well as those closer to home have really helped keep up the awesome Raasay House Staff Spirit and we really hope that we can thank you in person if visit Raasay House in 2013.
So the grass is growing on the Raasay House front Lawn, Library shelves are being polished and all the smart en suite bathrooms are installed and nearing completion. Raasay House has really 'risen from the ashes' this time or rather, this month the steadily growing grass seed has!
Please start spreading the word, sharing the buzz and planning an event for what is going to be a spectacular year for both Raasay House and the beautiful Island.
We’ll keep the news and the next chapters flowing through our Facebook and Blog so watch this space!
Thanks everyone!
Freya, David, Lyn and The Raasay House Team
