After a fresh new coat of paint and some TLC Oigh Niseach was ready to be launched again this year. As she was resting on a trailer and not in the bay it made more sense to employ a bit less elbow grease than usual and go for rope and revs instead.
Launching Oigh Niseach at the slip meant we would have a small window of opportunity between ferries in which to get her out on the water.
Our small team consisting of : David-the man with the plan, Lyn- the skilled backwards driver, Carol and Dom (new chef) - rope duty and Freya - photography/general not falling in the water duty ;-) How could we fail?
Things hit a slight hitch when the boat was snagged on the trailer but Lyn rolled up her trouser legs and came to the rescue, even Lyn’s puppy Cridhe jumped in to help out!
