In the last few weeks, we have been honoured to have the world famous cricketer Sachin Tendulkar staying here at Raasay House. Mr Tendulkar, from Mumbai, became the youngest ever Indian player to play county cricket at the age of 19 and is widely regarded as one of the best batsmen of all time. Now retired, Mr Tendulkar and his family enjoyed a relaxed stay at Raasay House, taking in the fabulous views of the Cuillin range from our balcony lounge.
Happy to pose for photographs on our balcony and chat to our hardworking staff, the famous batsman was a big hit with our team. Check out the cricket legend tweeting about Scotland on his twitter account, where he has over 11 million followers!
We hope that we will be able to welcome the Tendulkar family back to Raasay again in the future.
